Frequently asked questions
- Is the rotation permanent?
- Yes. The angle is stored in the document rather than applied by the viewer, so the pages open the right way up everywhere — including when printed. It is not a display-only setting that other readers might ignore.
- Can I rotate only some pages?
- Yes. Leave the page box empty to turn the whole document, or list pages and ranges like 2, 5-7 to change just those. Scanned documents where one page went in sideways are exactly the case this is for.
- What if a page is already rotated?
- The turn is added to whatever angle the page already had, rather than replacing it. So a page already at 90° rotated by another 90° ends up at 180°, which is what you would expect from pressing the button twice.
- Does rotating reduce quality?
- No. Only the page's rotation value changes — the text and images are untouched, so nothing is re-encoded and the file size stays roughly the same.
