About Toolkave
Toolkave is a set of everyday file tools that run entirely in your browser. It exists because handing a private document to a stranger's server for a ten-second job never made sense.
The problem
Merging two PDFs, converting photos of a document, removing a password you already know — these take seconds of computing. Yet almost every site that offers them asks you to upload the file, wait while it is processed on someone else's machine, and trust that it is deleted afterwards.
Passports, contracts, medical results and bank statements go through those sites every day.
How this is different
Browsers can do this work themselves now. Every tool here runs on your own device: the file is read into memory, processed, and handed straight back to you. Nothing is uploaded, so nothing can be kept, leaked or subpoenaed.
It also means the tools work on a slow connection and keep working once the page has loaded.
Three languages, on purpose
Toolkave is built in Uzbek, Russian and English. Good tools in Uzbek are rare, and translating an interface is not the same as writing one — every page here is written in each language rather than run through a translator.
Open and independent
The project is independent, built and maintained in Uzbekistan, and the source is public on GitHub. If you want to know exactly what a tool does with your file, you can read it.
What is next
More tools — images, text, converters and calculators — and a Telegram bot for the jobs that are easier from a phone. If something you need is missing, say so; that is how most of this list was chosen.
