- Is this a legally binding digital signature?
- No, and it is worth being precise. This places a picture of your signature on the page — the same standing as a scanned signature, which many organisations accept. It is not a cryptographic signature, so it does not prove who signed or reveal later changes. Where the law requires a qualified electronic signature, use an accredited provider.
- Can I sign on my phone?
- Yes, and it works better than a mouse. The drawing area accepts finger and stylus input directly, and the canvas is drawn at your screen's real resolution so the signature stays sharp.
- How do I position it accurately?
- The sliders set position as a percentage of the page, so the placement holds whatever the page size. Start around 60% from the left and 80% from the top for a typical signature line, then adjust and re-run if needed.
- Is my signature stored?
- No. It exists only in the page while the tab is open, and is embedded into the PDF on your device. Nothing is uploaded and nothing is remembered between visits.
