- Why does it sometimes give one file and sometimes a .zip?
- A single selected page comes back as one JPG, ready to use directly. Select more than one and they are bundled into a .zip, since the site can only offer one download at a time.
- What size should I pick?
- Medium (1600px) reads well on a screen and prints acceptably. Large (2500px) is for printing or further editing; small (800px) is enough for a thumbnail or a quick preview.
- Does this work on a scanned PDF?
- Yes — a scan is just a picture already, so this reproduces it as-is at the size you choose.
- Is a very long PDF a problem?
- Pages beyond a few hundred skip the visual previews to stay responsive, but the page-range field still selects them by number, and conversion itself runs in the background so the page does not freeze.
