- Will this put your logo on my video?
- No. Nothing is added except the mark you chose. That is worth saying plainly, because a lot of free watermark tools add their own to the output and charge to remove it.
- What image should I use for a logo?
- A PNG with a transparent background. JPG works but has no transparency, so it arrives as a rectangle with visible corners. If you have no logo file, use the text option — it is drawn with the fonts already on your device.
- Why is the text option not offering me fonts?
- Because the text is drawn by your browser rather than by the video engine, which has no fonts of its own. That keeps the download small and the letters sharp, at the cost of the choice being made for you.
- Does the sound get re-encoded?
- No. A still image over the picture cannot change the audio, so the original track is copied across untouched. Only the video is re-encoded, which is unavoidable when pixels are being drawn on.
