Joining audio sounds simple and has one trap in it: a 44.1 kHz stereo MP3 and a 48 kHz mono voice note cannot simply be laid end to end, and putting them together without converting is how you get a file that plays at the wrong speed. Every input here is brought to a common format first, so files from different sources join correctly. The order of the list is the order they play in, and you can drag it.

Frequently asked questions

Can I mix different formats?
Yes. MP3, WAV, OGG, M4A and voice notes can all go into the same batch. Each is converted to a common format before joining, which is what stops the speed problems.
Will there be a gap between the files?
No. They are joined end to end exactly as they are. If you want a pause between them you would need to add silence to the files first.
What format do I get back?
An MP3, because it plays everywhere. Convert it afterwards if you need something else.
Is this the same as mixing them together?
No. This plays them one after another. Mixing means playing them at the same time over each other, which is a different job and is not what this does.
