Crop image
Cut a picture down to the part you want.
Add a picture and drag on it to choose what to keep. Pull any border or corner to adjust the frame, drag the middle to move it, and everything outside stays dimmed so you can see what you are keeping.

Frequently asked questions
- Can I crop to an exact size?
- Yes. Frame roughly what you want, then type the exact width and height below the picture — the crop is saved at that size. Leave the numbers alone to keep the selection at its original resolution.
- Is the image re-encoded?
- Yes, once: the selected area is drawn and saved again in the same format. A JPG stays a JPG and a PNG stays a PNG, and quality is kept high, but a JPG will lose a little on any re-save — that is unavoidable when cutting a picture.
- Does it work on phone photos?
- Yes, including HEIC from an iPhone, which most croppers refuse. Touch works the same as a mouse: drag to frame, drag a border to adjust.
- Is my picture uploaded anywhere?
- No. The crop happens inside your browser, on your own device. Nothing is sent to a server, which is also why it works with the tab offline once the page has loaded.
